Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and prioritize care urgency using evidence-based protocols
- Collaborate with physicians to coordinate seamless patient flow and interventions
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Provide telehealth and in-person triage services across diverse patient populations
- Lead emergency response protocols during critical situations
- Educate patients and families on healthcare resources and care plans
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia with minimum 2 years clinical experience
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, or telehealth triage
- Proficiency in Epic or EHR systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication skills with cultural competence
- BSN preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
