Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive phone and digital triage assessments to evaluate patient symptoms and medical history.
- Make clinical decisions regarding the urgency of care and route patients to the appropriate department or provider.
- Provide evidence-based medical advice and instructions within your scope of practice.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and promptly in electronic health records.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other care team members to ensure continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with prior triage experience highly preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems and telehealth platforms.
