Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of medical equipment
- Document care activities accurately in resident records
- Support emotional and social well-being of residents
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Active Washington State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in long-term care or geriatric setting
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with proper technique
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable transportation for weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
