Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, dietary intake, and patient condition changes
- Administer medications accurately under RN supervision
- Transport residents to medical appointments using facility vehicles
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to create individualized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment following infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current North CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Strong communication skills and empathy for elderly residents
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
- Weekend availability (both Saturday and Sunday shifts required)
