Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff and physicians.
- Document patient care activities, changes in patient condition, and response to treatment in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure holistic care.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations in accordance with safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License (state approved).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Previous experience in long-term care, assisted living, or hospital settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift patients for extended periods.
- Compassionate demeanor with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
