Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and record vital signs, patient responses, and care documentation
- Provide support with meal preparation and feeding assistance
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable patient environment
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Assist with transporting patients and equipment as needed
Qualifications
- Active Maryland CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of recent CNA experience in a long-term care setting
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
- Basic computer skills for documentation
