Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document resident observations accurately
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding support as needed
- Administer medications under RN supervision per facility protocols
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments following infection control standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in geriatric or long-term care settings
- Current CPR/BLS certification from accredited provider
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical care duties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) with rotating holidays
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
