Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Monitor and document vital signs and resident observations
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Transport residents safely to activities and appointments
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff on resident care plans
- Ensure a clean, safe environment for residents
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergencies
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification
- Minimum 6 months experience in long-term care
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
