Responsibilities
- Delicate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation using EMR systems
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs with empathetic communication
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Assist with therapeutic activities and social engagement programs
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse populations
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays
