Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document resident health changes accurately
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Facilitate engaging social activities for weekend residents
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for continuity of care
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Texas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year geriatric care experience preferred
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Exceptional communication and empathy skills
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays (6am-6pm or 7am-7pm)
- Clear background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
