Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature.
- Assist patients with mobility and transfer techniques, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Communicate effectively with the nursing staff and healthcare team regarding patient conditions and changes.
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and patient needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Colorado CNA License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
- CPR certification (ACLS preferred but not mandatory for entry-level).
