Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist patients with personal hygiene, bathing, grooming, and toileting needs.
- Transport patients to and from dining areas, activities, or medical appointments.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests.
- Collaborate with the nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility or hospital setting preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs safely.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
- Compassionate, patient-oriented, and detail-oriented attitude.
