Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics and assistive equipment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to implement and update individualized care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for residents at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure holistic care.
Qualifications
- Current, active California CNA License (required).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital settings preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 lbs frequently.
