As a key member of our care team, you'll provide exceptional assistance with daily living activities while building meaningful connections with residents. This role offers weekend-only shifts (Saturday/Sunday), allowing you to maintain your weekday commitments while pursuing your passion for healthcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs and health status
- Assist with medication administration under RN supervision
- Facilitate engaging social and recreational activities
- Maintain clean, safe environments per infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop care plans
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Current Oregon CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in senior care or assisted living
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekend shifts (6:00 AM - 2:00 PM or 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
