Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Administer medications under supervision and follow care plans
- Comply with infection control protocols and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
Qualifications
- Current California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year recent CNA experience in home care or facility setting
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans precisely
- Strong communication skills and compassion for elderly patients
- Availability to work every weekend (Sat/Sun) with flexible weekday hours
- Valid CPR certification or willingness to obtain
- Must pass background check and TB screening
- Reliable transportation for home visits throughout SF
