Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs, food intake, and fluid output
- Provide basic nursing care under RN supervision (medication reminders, wound care)
- Transport residents to/from activities and medical appointments
- Maintain clean and safe resident environments
- Document care accurately in electronic health records
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends (Sat/Sun) and occasional holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation
