Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with mobility and transfer patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and walking aids.
- Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by the RN or LPN under supervision.
- Observe and report any changes in a patient's physical or mental condition to the nursing staff.
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the state of Arizona required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work weekends (Friday through Sunday) and holidays.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and prolonged standing.
- Candidates must pass a background check and drug screening.
