Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature, accurately.
- Assist patients with mobility issues, including transferring and walking with a walker or cane.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the RN or LPN according to facility protocols.
- Document patient care activities, including changes in patient condition and response to treatment.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Current and active Arizona CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or required.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or hospital setting is a plus.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients weighing up to 50 lbs safely.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient empathy.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
