Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document vital signs, nutritional intake, and behavioral changes
- Administer prescribed medications under RN supervision with precise documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans
- Maintain a safe, clean environment and adhere to strict infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations
- Facilitate meaningful social engagement activities during weekend shifts
Qualifications
- Active DC CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year experience in geriatric or long-term care
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while maintaining team collaboration
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
