Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care assistance (bathing, dressing, grooming) to elderly residents
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with mobility transfers and use of adaptive equipment
- Support medication administration under RN supervision
- Facilitate engaging social activities during weekend shifts
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments following infection control protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams for holistic patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Washington State CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year geriatric care experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper techniques
- Reliable weekend availability (Saturdays/Sundays)
- Proficient in electronic health record documentation
