Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care assistance to residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor vital signs and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation using proper techniques
- Document care activities accurately and maintain resident records
- Support nutritional needs by assisting with meals and feeding when required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure comprehensive resident care
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent CNA experience in long-term care or home health
- Valid CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently while adhering to care protocols
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, and bending
- Must pass background check and drug screening
