Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate assistance with ADLs including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Monitor and document residents' vital signs and health changes
- Assist with medication administration under nurse supervision
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and infection control protocols
- Transport residents to activities and appointments as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active California CNA certification required
- Minimum 6 months recent CNA experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Clear TB test and physical exam
- Ability to work weekends and holidays reliably
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compassionate approach with geriatric populations
- Basic computer proficiency for charting
