Responsibilities
- Delicate patient care assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation using electronic health records
- Collaboration with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Medication administration under RN supervision with strict adherence to protocols
- Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free patient environment
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and families
- Respond promptly to emergency situations following established procedures
Qualifications
- Active Washington State CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of recent long-term care or hospital experience
- Current CPR/BLS certification from American Heart Association
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical tasks repeatedly
- Excellent communication skills with clear documentation abilities
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Compassionate demeanor with commitment to patient dignity
- Availability to work every weekend (Saturday/Sunday) with occasional holiday coverage
