Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Vital Monitoring: Regularly monitor and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Medication Support: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the RN or Physician under supervision.
- Communication: Effectively communicate patient status changes and needs to the nursing team and families.
- Hygiene & Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-free environment for all patients.
- Documentation: Accurately complete documentation and care plans in electronic health records.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid and active CNA license in the State of Arizona.
- Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is preferred.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Physical: Ability to lift and move patients as needed.
