Responsibilities
- Delicate personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Accurate vital sign monitoring and documentation in electronic health records
- Assist with meal service and ensure nutritional needs are met
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans and resident updates
- Maintain clean, safe, and resident-centered environments
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 6 months of CNA experience in long-term care
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Flexibility to work every weekend (Sat/Sun) with occasional holidays
- Pass background check and pre-employment health screening
