Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate personal care including bathing, dressing, and feeding assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient conditions, and care activities
- Assist with mobility transfers and maintain resident safety protocols
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement individualized care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support to residents and families
- Maintain clean, organized resident environments and equipment
- Participate in weekend team meetings and care coordination
Qualifications
- Active Kansas CNA certification in good standing
- Minimum 1 year long-term care or hospital experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
