Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Perform clinical tasks including EKG, phlebotomy, and vital sign monitoring
- Manage electronic health records with precision and confidentiality
- Administer medications and injections under provider supervision
- Schedule appointments and handle patient communications
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms and sterile environments
- Assist with insurance verification and billing documentation
Qualifications
- Current Arizona Medical Assistant certification or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in outpatient setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
