The Role:
As a Weekend Medical Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. You will assist our providers in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals monitoring, and health screenings accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
- Assist providers during clinical examinations and procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
- Manage and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR) promptly and securely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new grads are encouraged to apply.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
