Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, and wound care
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Administer medications and immunizations under provider supervision
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate with lab services and pharmacies
- Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Texas state certification required
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced settings
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun 7am-7pm)
