At Sunrise Family Health Center, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional care to our community. As a Weekend MA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients receive top-tier medical attention during peak weekend hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vitals, and history taking with accuracy and empathy.
- Assist physicians and providers with examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize medical equipment to ensure safety standards.
- Administer injections, vaccinations, or medications as directed by licensed providers.
- Manage patient records, update EMR systems, and ensure proper documentation.
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding instructions, appointments, and billing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification (ACLS preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical office setting.
- Proven ability to work flexible weekend shifts (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach to care.
