In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our clinic runs smoothly during weekend shifts. Responsibilities
- Perform patient vitals, measurements, and basic physical assessments.
- Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and EKGs.
- Prepare and administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Manage patient intake, registration, and insurance verification.
- Update and maintain accurate medical records and electronic health records (EHR).
- Coordinate follow-up appointments and lab testing.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Flexibility to work rotating weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
