Responsibilities
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and medical history collection accurately.
- Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform basic laboratory tests, including phlebotomy, and specimen processing.
- Manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
- Provide patient education regarding medications, treatments, and preventative care.
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Certification (CMA, RMA, NCMA, or CCMA) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be available to work weekends as scheduled.
