Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient intake, vitals monitoring, and medical history documentation.
- Assist providers with examinations, procedures, and minor office surgeries.
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring strict sterilization and infection control standards.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by licensed providers, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Coordinate patient follow-up appointments and manage electronic health records (EHR) accurately.
- Provide patient education regarding medication and preventative care.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Ability to work rotating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and some holidays.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
