About the Role

Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients, verifying insurance and demographic information accurately.
- Prepare examination rooms by sterilizing equipment and arranging instruments.
- Assist providers with patient examinations, minor procedures, and lab draws.
- Record and interpret patient vital signs, medical histories, and symptoms.
- Manage patient flow efficiently to minimize wait times.
- Maintain and update Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Administer medications and injections under the direct supervision of a licensed provider.
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical setting.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records (EHR) software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
