Responsibilities
- Clinical Duties: Perform vital signs, blood draws (phlebotomy), and EKGs on patients.
- Patient Care: Assist providers with examinations, wound care, and treatments.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage patient check-in/out, update Electronic Health Records (EHR) accurately, and prepare charts.
- Communication: Educate patients on medications and follow-up instructions; communicate effectively with nursing staff.
- Compliance: Adhere to all hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT) certification is required.
- Licensure: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday).
- Location: Must reside in or be willing to commute to San Jose, CA.
