Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in our emergency department and medical-surgical units during weekend shifts
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and develop patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Respond to critical situations with calm professionalism and clinical expertise
- Participate in weekend quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active NM RN license (or compact state license with quick endorsement)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years ER/MS experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- Strong weekend availability and flexibility
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
