Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor patient progress and intervene immediately in case of medical emergencies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions and clinical notes.
- Educate patients and families regarding medical conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in the State of Illinois.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, with specific weekend shift experience highly valued.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
