Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care assessments and interventions across diverse clinical settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and care delivery accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and self-management strategies
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital protocols
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN license (or compact license with Kentucky residency)
- BSN or associate degree in nursing with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC or PALS preferred
- Proven expertise in patient assessment and medication administration
- Strong documentation skills with EHR proficiency (EPIC experience preferred)
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions autonomously
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
