Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and history reviews, to establish care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status closely, identifying changes and responding immediately to emergencies.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions, assessments, and care plans accurately and timely in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Washington State Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Commitment to patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
