Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming) to residents
- Monitor vital signs and document patient observations accurately
- Assist with medication administration per state regulations
- Support residents with mobility and therapeutic exercises
- Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team for coordinated care
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and needs
Qualifications
- Active New York State CNA certification
- Minimum 1 year long-term care experience
- Weekend shift availability (mandatory)
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass background check and health screening
