Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to assigned patients during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EMR systems
- Respond promptly to emergency situations with critical thinking and composure
- Mentor new staff and uphold hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active IL RN license with BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry or ICU setting
- ACLS certification preferred (must obtain within 90 days)
- Strong proficiency in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse patient interactions
- Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
