Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care in acute care settings during weekend shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient observations and treatment responses in EMR systems
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and JCAHO standards
- Participate in weekend on-call rotations as needed
Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license (IN RN)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with experience)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
