Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Document clinical notes accurately in Epic EHR systems
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Educate patients and families on disease management and discharge planning
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical care skills
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (Compact License preferred)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic)
- Weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday, 7a-7p)
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
