Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to diverse patient populations across multiple units
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond rapidly to changing conditions
- Lead emergency response protocols during weekend coverage
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA and hospital safety regulations
- Mentor new staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Oregon RN license in good standing
- BSN degree strongly preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health records (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently with strong decision-making capabilities
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
