Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care coordination in acute care settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while monitoring patient responses
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Lead emergency response protocols during high-traffic weekend shifts
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and hospital safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nevada with unrestricted status
- BSN degree from accredited nursing program (ADN candidates with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience in telemetry/ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage critical situations with calm professionalism
- Exceptional communication skills and cultural competence in diverse patient populations
- Availability for consistent 12-hour weekend shifts (Sat/Sun)
