Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment interventions
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- mentor nursing staff and orient new weekend team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and weekend-specific protocols
Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license with no restrictions
- BSN degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proven weekend shift adaptability and crisis management skills
- Advanced proficiency in Epic EHR systems
- Strong communication skills for patient/family education
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
