Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Monitor and respond to critical patient changes with swift clinical judgment
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care plans
- Participate in weekend shift huddles and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (required)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience (weekend shift experience a plus)
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Electronic medical record proficiency (Epic systems preferred)
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts while maintaining team collaboration
