Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and medication administration per physician orders
- Monitor patient conditions and document accurately in EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Perform patient assessments and respond to emergency situations
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Mentor new staff and maintain unit safety standards
- Participate in weekend shift rotations and holiday coverage
Qualifications
- Current Arizona RN license (unrestricted)
- BSN or Associate's degree with 2+ years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (maintained current)
- Experience in telemetry, ICU, or emergency preferred
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Ability to work independently and in high-pressure situations
- Flexibility for 12-hour weekend shifts (7a-7p)
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
