Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in a weekend shift setting
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress in EMR systems
- Provide patient and family education on health management
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
- Participate in weekend shift quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (Compact License preferred)
- BSN degree required (ADN with 5+ years experience considered)
- 2+ years acute care nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with Epic EMR system
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently in weekend shift environment
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
