Responsibilities
- Provide personalized assistance with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility support
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with dietary needs while maintaining safe kitchen practices
- Monitor vital signs and document health observations accurately in client records
- Transport clients to medical appointments and social activities using reliable personal vehicle
- Administer prescribed medications according to care plans and safety protocols
- Engage clients in meaningful conversation and recreational activities to prevent isolation
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year professional caregiving experience or equivalent training certification
- Valid California Driver's License with clean driving record and reliable transportation
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before start date)
- Ability to pass comprehensive background check and TB screening
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in English (bilingual Spanish a plus)
- Flexibility to work weekends and occasional overnight shifts as needed
